Roche Annual Day of Service

Pogue’s Run Art & Nature Park will receive a makeover this Friday, May 5, with the help of more than 200 Roche Diagnostics (Roche) employees as part of its annual Day of Service event with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. (KIB). This year volunteers will be working in the Pogue’s Run Art and Nature Park to plant 100 trees—and sprucing up the park’s trails and parking lot. All work was requested by the Otterbein Neighborhood Association in their on-going efforts to continue to add value to this park and increase usage.  This work would not be possible without our great working relationship with Indy Parks and Department of Public Works within the City of Indianapolis.

WHEN:        Friday, May 5 | 9AM to 12PM
WHERE:      Pogue’s Run Art and Nature Park | 2300 Dequincy St, Indianapolis, IN 46218
WHO:          Roche employees

VISUALS:    Keep Indianapolis Beautiful and Roche volunteers planting trees in the Pogue’s Run Art and Nature Park, repainting the parking lot, and making improvements to park pathways

Work in this neighborhood will leveraged by numerous community groups. For more information on KIB’s efforts to beautify the city, to learn about KIB programs or to donate, please visit www.kibi.org.
