From August 20th to September 3rd, IndyEast Promise Zone partners are invited to connect with federal agencies and organizations from across the country, sharing resources and best practices on place-based collective community development at the first annual National Coalition of Promise Zones Federal Convening.
This convening is a virtual series of workshops, covering a wide array of topics and information with capacity-building resources from federal agencies such as the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Participating agencies and session descriptions can be found on the registration page.
The event is organized and hosted by the National Coalition of Promise Zones, a group comprised of 22 urban, rural, and tribal Promise Zones across the United States, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
