Through this grant, the Department of Justice empowered the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute to implement its plan to reduce gun violence and gang crime through Project Safe Neighborhoods by networking existing local programs that target gun and gun crime and providing these programs with additional tools necessary to be successful.
