Farmers Market SNAP Support Program

Through the Department of Agriculture’s Farmers Market SNAP Support program, Growing Places Indy hired a dedicated EBT manager for the Indy Winter Farmers Market to provide vendors and low-income shoppers with training and technical support related to SNAP. These activities ultimately increased consumption of farmers market products by SNAP beneficiaries among their customers.
