Community Economic Development Program

RecycleForce will use $800,000 in CED funds to expand its electronics recycling business in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana. CED funds will be used as short-term subsidy for the workforce costs of new full-time staff positions created to meet anticipated increased staffing needs. RecycleForce will be moving into a new facility in early 2023 which will double its capacity to process materials. All new positions will be filled by participants of RecycleForce’s transitional jobs and training program, which receives referrals through partnerships with various criminal justice oversight agencies and serves returning citizens recently released from incarceration and/or individuals experiencing long-term homelessness.
