Their mission is to focus on improving lives by supporting organizations that align with our three funding priorities: Neighbors, Education, and Workforce. The Foundation seeks to partner with organizations that strengthen our communities through advancing economic mobility and inclusive growth.

The IEMD was born out of the collaboration formalized by its predecessor initiative, the IndyEast Promise Zone.
