Through industry-recognized training, certifications, and career placement support, the program is creating pathways out of poverty and into sustainable employment. Together, our three neighborhood center partner organizations will deliver comprehensive workforce training paired with wraparound supports, including career coaching, financial coaching, and income supports through the Centers for Working Families (CWF) model. The primary beneficiaries of this project are 100 residents who face systemic barriers to employment, particularly individuals who are underemployed, formerly justice-involved, or lack formal postsecondary education. Additional indirect beneficiaries include the families of participants, local employers seeking qualified green economy talent, and the broader community, which will benefit from economic revitalization and climate resiliency.
