KeyBank Foundation invested $750,000 to launch the Green Jobs Workforce Initiative, a three-year program connecting IndyEast Economic Mobility District residents with training, certifications, and career opportunities in the growing green economy. Coordinated by Southeast Community Services in partnership with John Boner Neighborhood Centers and Edna Martin Christian Center, the initiative will provide career coaching, financial coaching, and other wraparound support while preparing 100 residents for living-wage careers in fields such as solar installation, energy auditing, and environmental remediation.
