INHP creates affordable housing solutions for people with low and moderate incomes, and collaborates to enhance the quality of life in Indianapolis neighborhoods. They empower families who have low or moderate incomes – through education and one-on-one homeownership advising – to overcome barriers to homeownership and access mortgage financing, while also increasing the overall supply of affordable housing. INHP works to strengthen the community development system in Indianapolis by providing access to capital, leveraging technical resources and capacity, grantmaking, commissioning research, and developing affordable homes across Marion County.
